There's No Place Like Home

Among the thousands of people whose lives have been devastated by the Camp Fire in Butte County, I have nine family members who have been affected and lost everything. My Dad, his wife, and my brother, who is a Paradise High School senior this year, have lost their home (and school). Luckily they were able to save themselves and their 2 dogs. My uncle lost his place too. My sister (who is 8 months pregnant with my niece), her husband, and my one and a half year old nephew also lost their home. Her inlaws lost everything as well. My sister and brother's mom, my step mom, was displaced by the fire and may have lost everything too, but is unable to return home to check due to the evacuations. I am reaching out for help for my family members during this tragic time. There is a lot to be figured out, a lot to be replaced, and so much more that can never be replaced. I am also collecting clothing and other items, and will be taking donations up to them this coming Saturday for anyone who would like to donate. Any extras, or items that aren't needed will be given to other families in need at this time. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help. And thank you to everyone who has already donated, reached out, and shown their love and support. It is appreciated more than you know.
