Margarita lost her beloved Rango on Christmas, after he was struck by a vehicle. She was providing 24/7 care to her grandmother who was just in a severe accident. She had gone to take Rango on a walk on a road that had no sidewalks when Rango was hit by the car.
She had Rango since he was born, 6 years ago. Rango soon became her emotional support dog.
Margarita has reoccurring PTSD triggers that cause her to not to do so well in work and social settings. She had frequent anxiety and panic attacks until Rango was integrated into her therapy. He provided a much needed relief from past trauma by helping to redirect her.
No dog will ever be able to replace Rango in Margaritas heart, but she is in search of one to help her along her journey to recovery.
The funds will help her to get a support animal and some training covered. She would appreciate any help she can get.
