HIT AND RUN

Just last week one of our coworkers was crossing the street during a rain storm and was hit by a car who was making a right hand turn at a busy intersection. The car was moving fast and didn't see her soon enough. They did not remain at the scene after hitting her, instead they drove off without turning back.  Sabrina was hit and left to lay on the ground in the rain until the ambulances arrived. Thankfully, she is now on her way to recovery.  She was left with multiple broken bones in her cheeks, missing teeth(2 at the front a couple in the back) and damaged her jaw.  She will need surgery not only for her teeth but also the broken bones in her face. The pain is severe and she is on pain medication a majority of the time. My colleagues and I would like to help her with the surgery she will need. Insurance covers a bit of the costs but unfortunately not enough. A few of my other coworkers and I decided to start a go fund me page to help her get through this tough time. She is a young girl of 29 who just recently got engaged and is in the stages of planning her wedding. To be left in the middle of the road is disgusting and beyond comprehension. Sabrina is always bubbly around the office and is always there to lift you up when you’re feeling down. We’re just trying to be there for her, theway we know she’d be there for us.
