The West Jersey Music Academy was founded in 2017 to provide high-quality, affordable music lessons to students in South Jersey. We are a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization located in Moorestown, New Jersey. Our mission is to not only provide excellence in music instruction to a diverse group of learners, but also create a partnership with our students that is creative, nurturing, and consistent. Our school serves people of all ages: children, adults, seniors, and students with special needs. Students enjoy lessons in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, ukulele, flute, and drums.
This past year, we all continued to embrace our new normal, offering both virtual instruction as well as face-face lessons when possible. We continued to offer our existing programs, as well as piloted a new music therapy class. As always, we emphasize our students growth in music development. Whether that involves listening, practicing, or sharing; we hope that participating in music gives our students a sense of purpose and peace in our ever-changing world. Thus, our top priority is to keep music lessons going, and adapt in any way we can to make our lessons successful. It is our goal to develop, nurture, and expand our programs, so that we can continue to provide this service to anyone.
This holiday season, we are asking patrons to Give the Gift of Music by donating to our school. Our goal this year is to raise $2500.00 over the next eight weeks. With this money we can:
- Purchase additional instruments
- Expand Professional Development
- Issue Scholarship Funding for those in need
- Develop New Programing, Partnerships, and Outreach
We are so grateful for your monetary donation. Any amount you can give would provide some type of support for our students.
We take enormous pride in our instruction and are committed to provide music education to anyone who appreciates music and is dedicated to learning. Please consider supporting our drive and sharing the Gift of Music.
