The Power of Togetherness to help fight Covid-19

I am writing to ask you to support by giving to help Kyrgyzstan people with Covid-19 to survive and LIVE.  Kyrgyzstan is one of the previously Soviet Union countries (see picture). The population of the country is about 6.45 million people.  Mountains cover more than 90 % of my country; therefore about 65% of the total population resides in rural areas. After obtaining its independence from the Soviet Union, Kyrgyzstan has undergone many social, economic, and political crises such as two violent revolutions, two bloody ethnic clashes, but Covid-19 took lives and will take more lives than anything else. Living in the USA and being able to speak and write in English makes me feel more privileged in comparison to my countrymen from Kyrgyzstan. I do believe that I am better equipped and better served by the leadership whether it is at work or in the great community of St. Louis.  Thus, I feel I am obliged to be humble and ask from you to help my poor country. My name is Aigul Abdyldaeva, and I work as a Chief Stewarding Manager at Four Seasons St. Louis. I am a mother of 4 kids, a social worker by heart and education, a member of Association of Social Workers in Kyrgyzstan and Board Member of the homeless shelter in St Louis Room at the Inn. Today I ask my community of St. Louis Region, my Kyrgyz community who live in the USA, and every human being in the world who can and is willing to contribute to this project. Any amount counts, your small donation whether it is one dollar, 10 dollars or as much as 100 dollars will help reach our goal in the amount of 3,000 dollars for buying medical equipment, individual protective tools such as masks, gloves, soaps, and most importantly distribution of handouts in local languages on how to protect and fight Covid-19, especially for marginalized areas of Kyrgyzstan.  Kyrgyzstan has lost many medical staff and volunteers who were fighting Covid-19 each and every day to save lives with no sleep, no food, and no medical equipment. They lack everything. The truth is Kyrgyzstan people, including medical staff, have little or nothing, they are not prepared to fight Covid-19 and poor citizens and young volunteers of Kyrgyzstan help the community by sacrificing their own lives. Within the last week of July, Kyrgyzstan’s official coronavirus cases had increased by 41 percent. What about those left behind statistics? Check the public video, young volunteers or medical personal is doing CPR first aid without any  or little protection! Your contribution will go towards these priorities, which will be prioritized and implemented by social workers of Kyrgyzstan who received their master’ s degrees in the United States of America.  The Goal is to fundraise 3,000 dollars to buy and ship everything from China including 3 oxygen concentration equipment.    Social workers have already donated some medical supplies to Vorontsovka of Chui Oblast, but we want to mobilize resources to buy more for rural areas.  With coordination with local authorities and community leaders 100% of your donation will be used based on the urgency needs in the region.
