Thursday, November 1st 2018, Maria Herrera, a wonderful person, was taken to the ER for yellowing skin, eyes and abdominal pain. On November 5th, on her daughter’s birthday, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Liver Cancer. Doctor’s did not give her any options for treatment and she was put under Hospice care by November 8th , 2018.
Three months have passed and Maria Herrera is now at the last stage of her life and hopes you can help to make her last moments on Earth a memorable moment for her family.
Maria is 61 years old and for the last 20 years she worked as a CNA/Caregiver for the eldery and incapacitated people. She was always happy and made her patients laugh and provided exceptional care for them as if they were her own family and stood with some of them until their last moments. Now, is time for Maria to join them in Heaven.
Maria Herrera is a member of a small family. She has been a single mother of two. Marisabel Lopez and Jaziel Martinez, now grown. Maria has two grandchildren, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Rossana Lopez 5years old and Giovanni “Gio” Andre Lopez 1year old.
Unfortunately, the event has caught everyone by surprised. Cancer is a deadly desease that has no limits. Maria lived a happy life doing what she did best, and that was taking care of the elderly.
Due to the highly cost of funeral or any other choice, we are seeking funding from you for her funeral arrangements and we hope you can contribute with as little or as much as you can. We will be forever grateful for your kindness and will not forget about you.
