Help Portia Lou get new knees

Hello this is Portia Lou Olson she is almost 6 years old and has stolen my heart from the moment we met. Portia has a 3 year old human sister named Lily that she has loved, protected and simply adored her entire life.

To say she is part of the family is an understatement, she is literally my best friend and right hand lady. She is well loved and others would say she is quite spoiled.. sleeps in the bed, under the covers. She has the energy of a puppy! Nothing has ever slowed her down, that is until this summer... That's why this is so hard.

In August she started to limp and keep weight off of her rear left leg. We had her rest and not run or swim - Fast forward to January, x-rays have proven that she will need two new knees and has started to get arthritis in that left hip. This has broken my heart but in true pitbull form, she is still wagging her tail, giving kisses and wants nothing but to play and not be in pain.

I will do anything I can for this sweet girl, and will be looking into all options. So if anything changes for the better or the worse I will update. Please Help Portia, Lily and the rest of our family get her back to the healthy, happy and life she deserves :)
