Give Orphaned "Griz" a Home for Life!

This is the sad story of Griz, a very old shih tzu who was staying at Happy Tails pet resort (an amazing wonderland for dogs near Huntsville, ON) when his owner passed away.


Griz's guardians are unable to adopt him and believe that the best thing for him would be to spend the rest of his days at Happy Tails. Lisa Brooks, owner of Happy Tails, has generously offered to care for Griz at her amazing resort until the end of his days at a highly discounted price. We only need to raise $2,825.00 (plus gofundme.com fees = $3,070 approximately) to ensure Griz lives out his days in an environment where he will be loved and cared for.

From Lisa Brooks: "[Griz] does very much enjoy himself here. He is surprisingly agile, enjoys his routine and loves our outdoor dog park play space... Stimulation is good for old dogs as well as it is for young dogs."

My family will begin the fundraising effort with $100.00. To the extent the goal is exceeded I suggest using the excess to make a donation to a worthy canine cause (such as an animal shelter or rescue). To the extent insufficient funds are raised for Griz, we will return the funds to the donors less any non-refundable paypal and gofundme.com fees.
