Panama City, FL and Panhandle Relief

I am trying to raise money for my family and those people in the community who are like my family lost everything from their homes to personal valuables. On last week, part of my family’s homes were devastated by Hurricane Michael, a very strong category 4 (2 mph away from a category 5) hurricane. I myself I have experienced a category 4 while living in Orlando...it is a horrible experience being hunkered down in a bathroom while the building is shaking praying it don’t come apart and it wasn't even as bad as the one that hit Panama City. It doesn't matter how prepared anyone was or if they evacuated, this storm was an absolute monster and the results would have been the same or worse if it hit any other part of the country. That being said, Panama City is in absolute ruins. The communities in Panama City are struggling and need help. Panama City residents have a median income of a little over $38,000 with about 22% of residents living in poverty. Anything you can contribute will be most helpful as I am on my way down there to help in the clean up efforts and assist those with items they cannot get right now.
