Let’s Get Heather Refreshed!

Heather Whelan is an incredible single foster and adoptive mom and who has selflessly loved and cared for many children in her home over the past 8 years. She is also a teacher and a tutor and in addition to loving kids in her classroom, she has often gone the extra mile to become a soft place for both kids in foster care and their birth families. But caring for kids from hard places is a really challenging road filled with rules and paperwork, trainings and social worker visits, tantrums and therapy appointments. Foster and adoptive parents need consistent times of renewal and refreshment. Heather basically lives a life of love and sacrifice and those of us who love her too would like to bless her by sending her to an amazing conference called Refresh (www.refreshgatherings.org) up in Seattle, WA. This fundraising campaign will provide for her airfare, hotel stay, car rental and food while there. Please give as you feel led.
