Help Free the Lavoie Family

Since Jeff Lavoie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1992 he has fought
this debilitating illness courageously. Now, at just 49 years of age, this once
athletic and active father of three has lost his ability to walk and complete the
basic activities of daily living. Jeff
is dependent on care provided by his wife Lise, children and nursing staff. Unable
to transfer to a car and without a proper handicapped accessible van Jeff
finds himself trapped at home.
The impact on the entire Lavoie family has been profound. Jeff misses most all of his children's sporting events, dance recitals and family gatherings. Just taking a ride with his family is all but impossible. This disease has robbed the entire family of Jeff's company for too long. Simply put, the Lavoie family needs this van so that Jeff can escape the confines of his home and once again fully participate in the lives of his wife and three children.
Upon learning of this need, a local non-profit stepped in to help. The Multiple Sclerosis Community Foundation (MSCF) has been raising money toward this purchase for 6 months. To date, the organization has raised $20,000. A total of $45,000 is needed in order to purchase the van. Time is of the essence as this need is immediate... so we ask for your help today. "We are committed to improving the quality of life for those living with MS and our mission begins with the Lavoie family van", said Kevin Lombardi, president of the MSCF.
Please help us deliver this van! Your contribution will go directly toward this purchase. To read more about the Lavoie family please visit our website and click on "Stories". For more information on
