Rhonda’s Lungs / Aftercare

Rhonda had been diagnosed with COPD several years ago and has been fortunate enough to be approved for a double lung transplant to extend and afford her a quality of life. Currently due to the aggressiveness of this disease, Rhonda is confined to her apt. receiving oxygen 24/7 with little interaction with others. After a suitable donor has been found and this life saving procedure has been completed , Rhonda has to have 24/7 care for 3 months as per B.C. Health. As she has been unable to work for several years due to her illness and has exhausted all her financial resources we are asking family and vast network of friends to assist with a donation in order for Rhonda to receive the proper care after her transplant, if she is unable to show that she can sustain the care for 3 months she runs the risk of the transplant being cancelled ...effectively issuing a termination of life...Rhonda has given all her life now she requires the generosity of others to live again...
