House Fire / Freeze Recovery Fund
Dear Colleagues, Family, and Friends,
Our fabulous Friend and Family member Lawrence (Tra) Vinson was struck by two very challenging situations over the holiday break:
On December 22nd Lawrence was in a house fire and his home was deemed uninhabitable which temporarily displaced him and his cat Teddy. Initially he had not lost everything in his apartment -- at the time there was just some smoke damage. However, on January 5th , after the big snow storm, Lawrence went back to his apartment to begin moving what he could salvage to a storage unit. When he arrived he discovered that the pipes had burst in his apartment and the level above him (making the ceiling above fall through to his apartment) -- causing him to lose everything.
Your pledge will help Lawrence fill his empty storage unit with things he can put into a new home once he finds one.
