Four months ago I suffered a financial setback from which I've been unable to recover. The result is that the bank is foreclosing on my home. I worked very hard for over 53 years so I could retire in my own home : I will not let the bank take my home away from me.
I've tried to get assistance from the federal government but was denied twice. I've tried very hard to get a job : to no avail. It seems there's not a huge (or any) job market for a retired 75-year-old goddess like me.
I really need your help! I must send $7,000 to the bank by January 30 to avoid foreclosure. Any amount you can donate to help me save my home will be deeply appreciated. This hole is too deep for me to get out of by myself.
If you are unable to make a money donation, I ask that you say a prayer that I will keep my home and that my financial situation will improve.
It is extremely hard for me to ask for help. After all, I'm the one who should be helping and caring for you, giving to you : not you helping me. It is such a blessing in my life that I am even able to ask!
This, too, shall pass and I will be able to stay on target with my mortgage payments as soon as my account is current. My son has my back on this and is helping me all he can and will continue to help me in the future.
I know you won't let me lose my home.
