Mission Trip to Haiti

In July 2014, I will be traveling to Cap Haitien, Haiti with the organization, Helping Haitian Angels (HHA). In 2008, Bill and Debbie Harvey were serving on a mission trip in Cap Haitien, Haiti when they unexpectedly met 35 homeless children living in an abandoned building. These children were extremely sick from malnutrition and lack of clean water. A month later the Harvey's launched a non-profit named Helping Haitian Angels and raised enough money to provide medical care, shelter, food and clean water for the children they found in Cap Haitien.


My first trip with HHA was in the summer of 2013, and my goal is to travel back to Haiti this summer and visit the angels that I fell in love with from the first moment I saw them. While on this trip, I will have the privilege of visiting the Kay Anj Orphanage and building a relationship with the children through playing games, sports, group talks, bible studies, ect.
