Saydi's Journey

Donation protected

On November 28th, we took Saydi to the hospital for what we thought was a cold. To our unfortunate surprise, the doctors told us she had a tumor on her kidney and she underwent surgery to get it removed. After her surgery, it was discovered that it had spread and she was diagnosed with Sarcoma, an aggressive cancer that only 2 out of every 3 children survive. The doctors advised us that she would have to undergo 33 sessions of chemo throughout the spand of a year. Each session can last anywhere between 1 to 6 days.

Saydi is now on her 5th treatment. She is only 4 years old and will be turning 5 on March 30th. She is a wonderful little girl who brings so much joy to our lives and it has been a heartbreak to see her and her family go through this. Before she was diagnosed, money had already been stretched thin to make ends meet for her parents. Now that there are frequent doctor visits, her dad has had to miss time off of work to be able to take Saydi and her mom. Because this is such an aggressive cancer, the doctors have asked us to try and fulfill as many of Saydi's wishes that we can. This can be as simple as getting her favorite meal because her appetite comes and goes.

With your donation, you would be helping us do just that. Make the time that we have with Saydi as great as we possibly can. With something this unexpected, as you understand we are asking for anything you can give. If you cannot donate at this time, please say a prayer for Saydi and her family. We appreciate all of the help in advance, may God bless you today and always.

Thank you!

Gracias!
