Running to End Rape on Campus

My name is Maggie, and ending rape on campus is important to me.
This cause is near and dear to my heart. I've heard so many sickening comments normalizing sexual assault lately, including our president's behavior "grab[bing women] by the pussy". Enough is enough.
I've wanted to find my own way to help prevent this from happening, and in honor of my 29th birthday I'm beginning a commitment to last the rest of my life. I will run towards prevention, support, and change. I will work and train and become a runner, and use my legs and my lungs to raise money for the organization End Rape on Campus.
My first step will be running a 5k on October 21st, my 29th birthday, where with your help I'll hopefully have raised $2900 for EROC!
This is the first leg of a life long journey. 5k to 10k (in November), 10k to half marathon (in the spring), half marathon to...well, you can imagine.
I'd be honored if you'd share what you can to help me make the world a better place one step at a time.
