Arteles Creative Residency in Finland

Dear family and friends,

I have been accepted to attend a creative residency program in Haukijärvi, Finland for the month of June. The residency provides studio and living space in the Finnish countryside, allowing me to continue the momentum in my art work that I've built during my graduate studies. As some of you may know, my mother was born in Finland, and I am excited to explore my own Finnish descent through my work while I am there.


I feel honored to be one of the few that were chosen for this opportunity, but unfortunately my tight budget during graduate school doesn't leave much wiggle room for circumstances such as this. My goal is to raise $3000 to help with the residency fee and travel expenses. Any little bit will help me have the experience of a lifetime, and push my work to new levels.
