Tom Hildreth’s Battle With Cancer

In early September, our dad went to the doctor to get a lump in his throat checked out. In the next few days, through a series of rapid appointments, we learned that he has throat cancer. Due to the daily radiation, weekly chemo, and feeding tube, they don’t believe he will be able to talk, never mind work. Being self employed his entire life, our dad does not have the luxury of health insurance, sick leave, or other benefits that would support him through these difficult times. In our best efforts to provide peace of mind during what will be some of the hardest times of his life, we are reaching out to anyone who may be able to contribute to helping us provide care for our dad.
