My name is Caleb Knox. I am 24 years old and live in Roswel, NM. Though I am from the great state of Louisiana.
It is with great joy I announce that under the encouragement of family, friends, peers, elders, and my church family I will soon be attending seminary with the goal of entering the pastoral ministry.
The seminary is called Sangre De Cristo (The Blood of Christ) after the Sangre De Cristo mountain range in Westcliffe, Colorado. It is a small Seminary with usually about 7-14 students attending. I will be able to study myriads of topics-e.g. Theology, Koine Greek, Biblical Hebrew, Homiletics, Church History, Eschatology and many more. I believe the most anticipated thing that i will learn is how to clearly and effectively communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Summer Semester begins the last week in May.My wife, Sarah, and I have spent the past several months in peperation for this lofty endeavor, mostly by praying and saving up as much money as we can. It is here where we realise how finite we are. There have been several special moments in my life where the generosity of Christians has overwhelmed me.I make this account with confidence, trusting that God's people take care of their own.
Sarah and I, by the Grace ofGod, have been able to save up about $4,000.
We will need $2225 more by the last week in May to meet our goal for the year.
We are so thankful for any support we can get by way of prayer and donations. Any little bit helps. To all who are able to help, I express my gratitude in advance. Thank you!
