Peachtree Recovery House

Donation protected
As most of you know, Hurricane Florence hit Wilmington and the surrounding areas hard. My best friend Sara Telliga, her husband Michael Telliga, and daughters Annabelle and Savannah evacuated to Raleigh and were displaced for over a week. Sara is the owner of Seeking Serenity which is a recovery home for people who are battling addiction. Her home “Peachtree” is where she was able to finally overcome her addiction and get clean over 7 years ago. This home has been around since 2000 and Sara purchased the business 5 years ago. 2 years ago she had the opportunity to purchase the house and she put all of her savings into this purchase in hopes of helping other people, like her, who needed a safe place with other like minded women. When Sara returned to Wilmington, she was devastated. Hurricane Florence rendered “Peachtree” unlivable due to the roof damage that caused water damage. She has been working on getting this place back together and could use some help. She is still waiting on the insurance claim but with the deductible and loss of income while the home is inhabited, she is struggling to keep things afloat. I have created this page to reach out to the many people who have wanted to help, but didn’t know what they could do, like me. Any small donations would be used to restore the home so others who are struggling with addiction can return to this home and begin their recovery. Thank you.
