Aid Justin’s return to full-time music production

Hey, I’m Justin, and my laptop just broke.

I’m a music producer/recording engineer freshly based out of Texas. On March 9th, I arrived in Austin with a plan to build my network in order to sustain myself as a full-time producer/engineer.

Just three days later, I closed my laptop with something inside it, shattering the screen and rendering it useless.

After extensive research on the most ideal replacement, I have narrowed it down to one single option:

The new-generation, 16-inch, MacBook M4 Pro, with a few upgrades to help me excel…

(48gb ram for extreme tasks, a nano-texture display to increase visibility during daytime outdoor sessions, a professional video editing software for efficient editing & a digital audio workstation for seamless collaboration <Final Cut Pro/Logic Pro bundle>, and a carrying case to keep her safe and clean ).

Totaling $3,284.29 post-tax. With access to the Apple Education store (thanks to the guy at Best Buy), I’m saving hundreds, almost thousands on this laptop.

This is the kind of laptop that will set me up for decades of success.

My mind was already set on purchasing a new laptop with the money I make running sessions out of my car (the work that I’m doing requires more processing power than my current laptop is capable of providing), but now I have no medium to record into, which kinda cripples that

(and yes, I have a fully functional recording studio in my car… minus the laptop of course)

All that being said…

The goal for this fundraiser is simple - help me speed up the replacement process.

I have been dedicating 16+ hour days towards fundraising, and while I enjoy pushing my limits in a different area… I’m eager to get back to the work that I love.
