Kent St Bar has been bringing the Cheers/Twin Peaks vibe to Smith St in Fitzroy for 20 years. It’s the staff that are integral to its success.

 For many, we’ve been a second home; creative space, conversation hub, study spot, meeting space, therapists couch, existential void and lonely hearts club. 

In the wake of COVID-19, the hospitality industry (among many many others) has been close to decimated; struggling to adhere to regulations with no guarantees or promises of assistance anytime soon.

We hate to ask, but we need your help. Our staff have a long wait until any Centrelink benefits come through, they have rent to pay and food to buy. 
If you’re in a position to help support us,
if you have ever felt a connection with us, with our ethos, our staff, our community... now is the time to help keep our little bar open for the future. Any little bit helps. 

100% of funds raised will go to Kent St Staff for their wages and to see them through this rough period.

There will be Kent St shirts, bags, stickers, vouchers all available via our Facebook soon, if you’d prefer to help out in that way.
