A Flighting Chance

We are working hard to help this beautiful juvenile Bald Eagle regain a chance to fly again! WE NEED YOUR HELP! People never cease to amaze me, a wonderful group of individuals worked to bring me this beautiful juvenile Bald Eagle all the way from Rossport Ontario. He was hit by a vehicle, and left on the side of the road when a kind soul stopped, seeing him in distress, and brought him home getting in contact with me. Once in Thunder Bay and in my care, off we went to the veterinarian office for X-rays as his right wing was tucked on him completely backwards, a clear sign of a broken humerus. To our relief once further assessed we determined that the break was a closed and relatively clean break, leaving him a strong candidate for surgery to pin the bone back into place. The goal being for this big powerful bird to regain full flight abilities. Surgery and recovery is costly! Being an exotic species for the vet, the estimated cost is at least 1500, not including recovery expenses. I am looking for any donations in the form of funds, through goFundMe, blankets or fish.
