"Every town needs a movie theater!"
Since the Rex Theater went up for sale, a small group of folks from all professions and backgrounds, have been talking to residents across Sanders County and have heard that exact message over and over. That same group of dedicated individuals, has come up with a plan to purchase, update, open and manage the Rex Theater, which will show current movies, expand the live performances, support local events and reintegrate the Rex Theater back into an active lively venue for the community!
We have set a goal of $5000, our need however, goes far beyond that. This initial figure gets us past our administrative and marketing costs. Please don't stop once our goal has been reached!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We have several ways you can be part of the effort!
1. Partner with Rexie ~ You can purchase a piece of ownership of the Rex in $1000 increments. This is accomplished by donation and is NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE. You will become a partner in the business and will eventually see a return on your investment. 'Eventually' is important to note as there is, understandably, a LOT of work to be done before becoming profitable.
2. Make a donation ~ First Security Bank in Thompson Falls can process your NON TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation.

3. Trade ~ If you are a professional contractor or tradesman, we will trade [fair market value of sweat equity and/or materials] for partnership.
4. GoFundMe ~ How easy is this?! Please note donations made through this GoFundMe page are NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE

*If you choose to partner with us, please mail a COPY of your [$1000 or more donation] receipt, along with your contact information, to Rex Community Theater, LLC, POBox 1382, Thompson Falls, MT 59873. We will contact you for the necessary/additional information to properly record your partnership. PLEASE KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT!
See you at Christmas on Main St, December 7th ~ We will have a public announcement directly following the Rex Theater performance!
We hope you will then stroll over to the Rex Theater Comfort Station located in the Black Bear Ballroom for hot cider, popcorn, additional information and Rexie shirts, wristbands and merriment!
