Dominican Republic Mission Trip

SERVING IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Dear Friends and Family -

This is Lauren Langley, and I am excited to share this exciting opportunity that the Lord has opened the door for me to be a part of with my school, Foothill Christian School. Actually, this is an opportunity that I have been looking forward to ever since I started there in Kindergarten.

Next January, I have the privilege to take part in a one-week missions trip to the Dominican Republic, partnering with the Manny Mota Foundation. FCS has made it a school-wide priority to raise money and supplies to send to the Dominican Republic. Last year, the school shipped over two tons of clothes, school supplies, and hygiene products to distribute to the local people.

Along with distributing all those supplies, we will participate in some small construction projects, a pop-up medical clinic, meeting with the local children to share about Jesus, and have fun playing games, painting nails, braiding hair, and just being kids.

Everyone on the team is trusting Christ for all that concerns us as we prepare to serve the people of the Dominican Republic. We trust that He will be doing part of that through you. Will you consider partnering with us?

I invite you to prayerfully consider joining our prayer and/or financial support team. I eagerly desire your prayer support as we prepare to minister to these people. The best part of this trip is that my dad is going with us too. So in addition to the prayer support, we are fundraising for the both of us. Each team member needs $1,800.00 to cover flights, meals, hotel, and ground transportation.
