Help Baby Nolan's "Dream to See".

Hello, we are the Thomas family and this is our baby boy, Nolan Dream Thomas. He was born on November 15th, 2013 and is such a blessing to our family. Nolan's struggle began at birth, with Meconium Aspiration Syndrome in the delivery room, as well as having a serious issue with his right eye and possibly his left. After spending his first week of life in the NICU clearing his lungs, we began understanding more about Nolan's eye conditions. It has been determined that in Nolan's right eye, the cornea did not separate from the iris. As a result, he will not see out of it and will need a corneal transplant. There is also a concern with Nolan's left eye, as it is considered smaller than normal and the optic nerve is about half the size that it should be. It is questionable how good of sight, if any, he will have on his left side. After learning about and trying to digest this heart breaking news, Nolan came down with RSV and was admitted into a children's hospital for ten days, where we feared we would lose him right before Christmas. After fighting like a champ, our little Dream was healthy enough to be discharged two days before Christmas, the only gift our family was praying for. We had a wonderful Christmas, but needless to say, our medical bills have come flooding in and we haven't even begun our journey to the Bascom Palmer eye institute in Miami, Fl. We truly appreciate you taking the time to read our story and your consideration to donate towards Help Baby Nolan's "Dream to See". Your donations will go toward all the medical bills accumulated to make Nolan's dream come true. We love you and May God bless you all.
