Justin Gregory Solomon-Matthews, a handsome, loving son, brother and friend left us suddenly in a peaceful sleep on Saturday, June 24, 2017. He spent his life with severe health challenges and a disability, but he never let that get in the way of his amazingly happy spirit. Justin (Boogie) was cared for by his mother, Michelle Solomon, who devoted her entire life to caring for him in the most humble and competent way. He thrived for 25 years, spreading his infectious joy with everyone whose life he touched.
Because of the suddeness of his departure, we are asking for your help with the family and funeral expenses and a transport to New York City, so that he can be reunited with his father, Gregory Matthews, in the family plot.
As a dedication to Justin's memory, we would like to offer 3 suggested tiers of giving:
Tier 1: $118
Justin's birthday is on January 18 (1/18). The number 1 signifies unity and godliness. The number 18 represents life and prosperity. This tier honors Justin, our angel on Earth, and the ways in which he unified our family and added so much value our lives.
Tier 2: $25
Although doctors told our family that Justin wouldn't live past the age of 2, we were blessed with 25 years of life with him. This tier honors Justin's time here on Earth.
Tier 3: $500
Justin was surrounded by the number 5 his entire life, which was his favorite number. He also loved going to church and loved God. The number 5 is representative of God's grace, goodness and favor towards humans. This tier represents what we believe to be Justin's divinity.
NOTE: We are preparing for Justin's Homegoing as soon as next week. Therefore, we are looking for urgent support, as to allow time for processing. However, the campign itself has no end date, and you are free to support at any time.
