Our Friends, Pancho and Chuyitas’ family are in need of our financial help.
About 5 months ago, Pancho and Chuyita’s daughter delivered a 20 week premature baby. She weighted under 1 pound.
Amazingly, the baby, Esperanza, survived but requires oxygen 24/7.
Today Esperanza is getting stronger and now weights almost 4 1/2 pounds.
But as a result of ventilator support, she has impaired lung function and is oxygen dependent for survival.
The duration of treatment with oxygen therapy is unknown, potentially a life-long necessity.
The baby’s doctor recommends an OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR. This is a device that concentrates oxygen from the air and delivers it to the patient.
Oxygen tanks work but they run out and are not the definitive answer.
Esperanza can not go home without oxygen.
It is necessary for the family to get an Oxygen Concentrator, which is used to increase the oxygen delivered to the patient,
As of Nov 10th, Pancho said that the doctor will provide them with a concentrator , Seguro Popular will pay about 1/2 and Pancho and family will pay the rest.
Thats where we come in.
At present we are not sure what the actual cost of the Oxygen Concentrator will be, but, this baby could potentially require additional oxygen for the rest of her life and she will also have additional medical needs.
Donations will be used to help pay for the Oxygen Concentrator and to support other medical needs Esperanza will have over time.
Donating: This donation website will only be up until we reach our goal or until Nov. 24th, 2017, which ever comes first.
