Hi Everyone,
A few nights ago my sisters dog Lola got into a bag of garbage and ate some chicken bones. She got sick that night and has been okay until today.
Unfortunately she got sick again today, she hasn't eaten or drank anything and was throwing up for a few hours. We had to call the vet and bring her in as an emergency visit and they are keeping her for the next 24 hours.
She is dehydrated, hooked up to an IV for the next 24 hours AT LEAST and they are taking blood work and doing other tests because her throw contains a bit of blood.
My sister is heartbroken and worried, and the quote for the vet thus far is $840. We just made a $600 down-payment but it was her rent money. She is a single working mother and this has definitely came at a time of year where money is already tight. I am going to help her as much as i can but we aren't sure what will happen in the next 24 hours. Anything will help at this point, if you can donate please help my sister and Lola.
