Marshell Baker Jr. Memorial Fund

Our dear friend and colleague Tambria tragically lost her 13 year old son, Marshell, on Monday Jan. 6, 2014. Tambria has been a loyal and dedicated employee at the Y of Central Maryland in various roles since 2005 until she found her niche as the Assistant Director at the Towson Preschool in 2009. She loves her work and is loved in return by the children and parents she serves and the team she works with.

No one is ever prepared for the loss of a child and Tambria works in a field that pays just enough to keep body and soul together. She did not have a life insurance policy for Marshall and now must face the cost of a funeral on top of her grief.
