HALEYs' HOPE
Donation protected
Please help me. My 6 year old granddaughter, Haley Tarver, was attacked by a dog and has suffered a horrific leg wound. The dog ripped her
right leg from the top of the groin area to below her knee. She was transported by ambulance to the Temple Children's Scott and White Hospital in Temple Texas. She has already undergone 2 surgeries in just 72 hours,
and is scheduled for a minimum of 2 surgeries each week, until the wound heals enough to be
prepped for a skin graft. We are being told this could take weeks, or months, depending on
how her body heals. You see, Haley's little body has already been fighting for life. She has been battling
leukemia since the age of
3 years. Haley just passed her one year mark on 12-19-13, celebrating her last chemo treatment. She has
2 more years of this, to be declared cancer
free. So this brown-eyed precious and spunky little
6 year old knows how to fight a battle. And all the time wearing a smile on her face. Because to Haley, everyday is beautiful. I know this because
she wakes up telling me
" it's a beautiful day today Granny!" Any donation will be appreciated and as her granny, I can promise you it will be put to good
use. From paying already enormous surgery bills, to
providing a portable
wound vac for comfort at home between surgeries, to home healthcare, to paying for fuel and being able to make the 2
hour commute weekly, and to the simplest of things like eating a meal while staying in the hospital
with Haley and to being able to buy her favorite meals like Chic-fil-a (cow chicken as she calls it) and on the border fajitas.. Won't you please help by donating and sharing my story for Haley's Hope. It is going to be another long chapter in Haley's book of life. But a chapter I guarantee will teach us all something important. Haley will also, at sometime in the future, have to have a skin graft, which will be coming from the inside of her other leg. Which means even more surgeries and more healing. Please keep Haley and our family in your prayers. Pray for her healing and comfort and that someday , all this will pass, and Haley will once again be able to run and play and start to enjoy the life a normal and healthy 6 year old should be experiencing.
Thank you all and God Bless
