Hi Everyone!
I have the money for the surgery. The surgery is already scheduled for the 30th of September. It is exactly 10 years to the month that I started binding so it is a dream come true to not have to bind anymore and to be able to be comfortable in my own skin. I had my Manniversary recently and it has been a year and 5 weeks since I started testosterone. For my 36th Birthday (September 12) I am posting this fundraiser one more time once for my birthday last year and once for my birthday this year.
I am posting it again because if anyone is wanting to give a birthday gift and/or wanting to help with the aftercare, renting an Airbnb for a few weeks post-op, and post-op care that would be helpful. I do have the money now but anything extra helps because I will be not able to do much for a while. All of the money will be going to help pay for the surgery, aftercare, and taking care of rent and other things I need to keep up with in Mexico if there is any extra money that way I can not have to worry about all of that stuff while I am recovering.

Hi Everyone!
My name is Jake and I am a trans person. Today is my 35th birthday and I decided to put this out here because I have had many friends tell me that I should do a gofundme for this. I have been needing to get top surgery for years now and it’s finally reached a point where I can not take off my binder for more than a few minutes to take a shower. Years ago I could take it off at night when I went to bed but now it is a different story. My dysphoria has reached a point that i can’t fully put into words. I have been binding for 9 years now and on a regular basis I have issues breathing since it constricts my chest, bruised ribs every so often, sore spots, and this past winter my chest turned purple because of the cold/sweating/binding combined. I am not comfortable in my own skin because of my chest and I have realized how much it affects my daily life not just physically but also my confidence and comfortability within myself. It would mean the world to me to be able to get top surgery sometime in the next couple of months. I will be able to come up with some of the money but $10,000 is a lot to come up with on my own. I have tried to figure out ways to get it done but nothing has been feasible for me. If you are able to donate, it would mean the world to me, and I am not just saying that, I will be forever grateful because this is super important to me. I have started transitioning and have been taking testosterone for the past 5 weeks which I have been paying for out of pocket. I know $10,000 is a lot and I am not expecting to raise that but anything helps and I will continue to work on getting whatever else I need to make this happen.
