Hi, my name is Armand Berube. My dear sister in law Annette "Cubby" Berube had a castistrophic life changing medical event. Basically what started out as a slight cold, ear infection, resulted in almost complete paralysis. Imagine being an active worker, to waking up and not being able to move. 2 weeks later, your at MUSC medical university in Charleston SC. Undergoing treatment for Guillian Barr which is an auto immune disease triggered by an infection. Feeding tube, developing pneumonia, every nerve in your body causing pain, needing 24/7 care. The loss of employment and medical bills are just starting. She "might" have a full recovery if all goes well in a year. This is an honest hard working wife and mother.
