Lennon Ruffles Charity Fund

Donation protected

Thank you!! We have now reached the first target of £15k! And, because we have done so well and had so much support, we are going to continue to fundraise for Lennon. As he gets older he will always need expensive equipment, and we really want to make his short life as fulfilled and fun as possible.

Lennon is 7 and life limited. He has an array of extremely complex medical conditions, and requires hourly care around the clock. He is under 9 different medical teams at Great Ormond St. hospital, and attends Keech Hospice in Luton when possible for much needed respite.
He goes to an amazing special needs school and has a dual sensory impairment intervenor. He has a deaf blind diagnosis.
Lennon suffers with a lot of pain in his gut, and self harms as a result.

He is the most amazing child, almost always happy and smiling. He has a very captivating personality.

£1373 for a special needs bike. The charity whizz kids are funding £3500 towards this.
£6000 ish to have a small soft, padded area downstairs at home so he can play safely and not bang his head.
£8000 for an eye gaze computer. Lennon uses one of these at school. It's a good way for him to learn to communicate with others. At present, he has very little communication - we show him photos of places we are going to, and let him make choices using 2 different photos.
It will also enable him to play more independently. He isn't capable of playing iPad, games etc without an adult.
