Bill & Lea Left With Nothing...

A few days ago my parents lost pretty much everything they own and cared about. They sold our family home, paid off their mortgage and with the remaining money purchased their dream home; A house boat. They have been in their new home for 3 months and out of no where it sunk, Taking everything they own with it. They're the kind of people who will do everything they can for everyone they know, no matter what is happening in their life. They're not the kind of people to ask or beg for help. The cost to recover their boat, their home, from the marina has been quoted at $15,000 with the boat requiring a full rebuild in excess of an estimated $40,000. I dont expect to raise $55,000, however anything that can be raised to go to them will be helping them achieve their dream of owning and retiring on a house boat once again.
