Help My Father Prevail
Donation protected
My father, Oscar Adame, has worked very hard all his life. He always made sure my sisters and I had everything we wanted. I remember watching my dad work 6 days a week working 12-14 hour days. He instilled in us the importance of having a great work ethic verbally and physically. He also taught us to treat everyone, no matter who they are or what their financial status, with respect. I remember, in more than one occasion, my dad was getting gas and a customer didn’t have enough money to fill-up and he would voluntarily pay for their gas. Good Samaritan is what he does for the least fortunate and pays it forward to the community he resides in when times were easier financially. In the last month, my dad has fallen very ill. He’s been diagnosed with possible liver failure and possible kidney failure. He’s had 3 hospitalizations along with 5 emergency room visits. Doctors are saying, at this moment, he’s unable to work indefinitely. Due to my dad not being able to work with added hospitalizations, ER visits and medication costs they are struggling financially. They have filed for disability but it can take up to 5 months, if approved, to receive benefits. My parents are not one to ask for help but they desperately need it.By donating, you’re helping my parents with my fathers medical bills, medication costs and helping them get caught up on their bills.Thank you and God bless!
