Chris “The Flyin Hawaiian” Kinerk

My name is Kevin Holt and I own South Bound Honda. My good friend Chris was injured at the Top Gun race in Washougal yesterday 09/02/2018. After 2 holeshots and wins in his first 2 motos he was battling for his third holeshot when things went bad in the first turn. Somehow he lost the rear end and went down. After being run over repeatedly Chris laid motionless on the track. I was with him on the start line so by the time I got to him he was coherent but complaining of “popping in his back” He was backboarded up and transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. I was worried about his back so when I heard “9 broken ribs and a punctured lung” I was oddly thankful. Chris, who runs Ridge MX track in Shelton and organized and managed our Top Gun team Is a warrior and will heal of but he will be off work for quite some time. With a wife and two youngsters and a large stack of medical bills already piling up I would like to see our little moto community give back to the guy who gives his all for us everyday!
