Rachel Padoll Morris was diagnosed with Leukemia and is an intensive treatment program in Rhode Island with 95%+ success rate. That's right - HIGH SUCCESS RATE! Rachel knows she has a hard road ahead starting with chemotherapy and has already shown her fight and passion. The first week her immediate family and friends have been rallying to try to figure out how we can support when much of the battle will be Rachels. The choice to do Caring Bridge and Go Fund Me was another way to help. The site makes you choose a funding "goal." We don't have one at this time. Whatever you can do to help donate would be appreciated. These funds will support daily life needs, some medical and utility/home bills, etc that will difficult while Rachel is in treatment. Immediate family will be out of work sporadically too. With Mark, Maddy and Abby's blessing (Charlotte hopefully would agree too :), I am managing the caring bridge and go fund me with some wonderful folks and hope this will help reduce the financial strain times like this can cause. I told Rachel today we are on TEAM RACHEL and wish her a speedy recovery so she can go back to family and friend fun and pursue her nursing school degree. I'm blessed she is my friend.
