Dia Goes to Nashville!

A chance of a lifetime is before me, and I am getting to go to Open Auditions for The Voice TV show in Nashville, TN!!! My initial audition is February 2nd, and if all goes well, they will have me come back for a Call Back 1-3 days after that. This is truly a dream of mine, to move on from a local and state level competition. I have had amazing support, and want to make my hometowns proud - Aberdeen, WA and The Dalles, OR! I truly want this more than I could've ever imagined, and would love for you all to be a part of my journey. The travel expenses are really unknown right now, as I don't know exactly how long I will be staying... if I don't get a call back, it's only three days. If I DO get a call back, it's six days. And also, at this point, I am going by myself. That is where you all come in. I want Brian to go with me. But unless we get enough funds raised, he won't be able to go. He has been one of my greatest supporters, and to have my husband there waiting for me as I come out of auditions, well - words can't describe how much that would mean to me. He saw me rise from a small town girl to a "local celebrity" with winning the contest last summer, and wants to see me succeed at this next level. Please help us to get him there with me!

I know times are tough right now, and I will say in advance, thank you for your donations. No donation is too small - all are welcome! I just want my dream to come true, and to mark one thing off of my "Bucket List" which is to go to Nashville, and see the Grand Ol Opry at the Ryman Auditorium. If I am lucky enough, I might even sing out a couple stanzas of Amazing Grace on the stage in there, in honor of all who have supported me along my journey. Because yes - you ALL are part of the Amazing Grace that God has bestowed upon me. I would not be who I am and WHERE I am if it weren't for each and every one of you!
