Help a Mother and Daughter in Need

My 21 year daughter, India Cloud, has suffered with severe chronic migraines for years, but no one has been able to diagnose the cause or tell us why. I have taken her to see doctors..asked for tests..but nothing. In November of this past year she had one of her usual episodes..extreme headache and throwing up. These episodes would usually last 2 to 3 days at the very most. This time it would not stop and just seemed to be getting worst. Her body was shaking and she was complaining about not being able to see. I took her to the emergency room. Her blood pressure was around 300/275! They were shocked that she had not had a heart attack or a stroke by that point. This began our lengthy ER visit and our 2 week stay in the ICU. The doctors are still not sure what the cause is. All the tests are negative. What we do know is that she has extreme hypertension and was born with one kidney that is now failing. She is on 3 blood pressure meds and has dialysis 3 times a week. We are praying that with her blood pressure stabilizing her kidney will open and heal. If not she will remain on dialysis and need a transplant. The doctors are still looking for the cause and are also trying to have her transferred to UCSF where she can get further testing..cross your fingers for that!!

As for me, we are a family of 2 for which I am the sole provider. And two weeks before this heartache : I broke my wrist. Being a massage therapist and self-employed, I am completely unable to work. My poor little wrist lived in a brace and got neglected through all this. It turns out that I will need a simple surgery in order for it to heal properly, but once I receive the surgery I will still have 2 to 4 months before I will be able to work. I am currently working on getting the insurance I need to receive the surgery.

We are reaching out because we have been at zero for awhile now. All of our resources are exhausted. We are simply surviving on angels.
