The tragic loss of a young father’s life has left three teenage daughters with an unimaginable hole in their heart as they prepare both mentally and physically for their most important years ahead. Madeline (15), Ava and Emma (13) were raised with the understanding that all good things come to those with self-love, confidence and belief in your dreams. The primary foundation for this is family, faith and Education. The Light Girls are a representation of the very best qualities of their father. He was intelligent, compassionate and had a love of people. The heartbreaking component is that their father struggled with this personally, and has left the earth and his family with an enormous hole in their hearts. Madeline is a star student with leadership qualities that presented themselves at an early age. Always rallying people around her to get things done, she is a rock for her sisters and her friends. Ava is a passionate and imaginative spirit with a newly discovered interest in the culinary arts. She is jovial and lighthearted with a tenacity to fight through any challenge she is faced with. Emma is a talented Saxophone player, member of her school Jazz Band and an avid reader. Her heart and the ability to love is one of her biggest attributes. No doubt she will pour that into making something amazing out of herself. The loss of a father at such a young and significant age will be a hurdle they will all have to work through. But with family, faith and the doors of opportunity opened due to Education, they will change the world.
