Raising Money for Jacob's Recovery
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of Saturday December 5th, Jacob Thompson was traveling home from work when he was struck head on by a wrong-way driver. Jacob was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be insurmountable injuries. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Doctors and Nurses at Baylor in Grapevine, he is still with us and fighting hard to survive.
For Jacob, his family is his entire world. He talks about his amazing wife, Katie, and his beautiful daughter, Hazel, to everyone he meets. His family is by his side praying they can bring him home.
Here are a few thoughts that one of his best friends and colleague shared about him and the impact he makes daily on the world:
--He is great friend, one that you could ask for anything at any time and you would know he would do whatever he could to help
--A great leader in the workplace, leads by example and constantly giving 100%, working alongside him makes you set yourself to a higher standard
--Above all his favorite thing to do is spend time with Katie and Hazel. He’s the type to always make sure everyone is enjoying themselves and having a good time before doing anything for himself.
--Anyone that has Jake in their group of friends probably puts him as one of the most comedic ones, he constantly has everyone laughing with his jokes and sense of humor
THIS INCREDIBLE MAN AND HIS FAMILY NEED US! The road ahead will be a long one, but we know his fighter’s spirit and the support of the community will carry him through.
Please keep Jacob and his family in your thoughts and prayers, as well as the team at Baylor in Grapevine that are fighting hard for him. Please consider a donation to help with the hospital bills that are to come throughout his fight and recovery.
