The Gentle Giant Glenn ❤️

On Tuesday 14th August, while Glenn was hard at work, he misplaced his footing and fell through alsanite sheeting on a stable roof. Consequently, he landed on his back on a concrete slab, breaking 3 of his lower vertebrae and fracturing the base of his skull. The force of the fall also caused bleeding on his brain and significant swelling, in addition to renal hematoma and rather significant ligament damage around his spine.The swelling of his brain and optic nerves began to affect his vision and he ended up needing an eye patch to stop the nausea and assist him in seeing properly. Glenn is one of the most hardworking, caring men you will ever find. Everything he does is for his family - 3 kids and wife. He has always made sure that the kids never went without and has so much love to give out, along with a healthy dose of wit and sarcasm! He loves nothing more than to wake up bright and early on a Sunday morning and sneak out of the house to head to the markets for some grocery shopping while the rest of the family sleep. As if that wasn’t enough though, he always stops at the bakery and cafe to buy a sweet treat and coffee for his wife - such a catch! Although the accident is the last thing we want to go through, we are extremely lucky as the outcome of his fall could have been so much more devastating.My name is Ashley and I have started this Gofundme for this beautiful family.
