Kilos & Kokoda Over Cancer

Donation protected
Kilos and Kokoda Over Cancer is the 1st fundraiser I am creating and doing to raise funds to help go towards cancer research and also help me get to Kokoda in late 2019  .  From the 1st of October 2018 until the end of January 2019 I will lift 1,000,000 KG of weights .  In 123 days that is 8,130KG per day. More than an African Elephant every single day.  I am doing this to show my support to my parents, to feel extremely uncomfortable and sore to somewhat empathize with the pain they feel daily.  The mental battle of the challenge will be a major focus and having to keep going no matter pain or problems that will arise within the challenge.

Cancer is such a shit and horrendous disease  and everyone most likely knows someone who has been impacted by it directly or indirectly.

My Parents are both currently suffering from this awful disease and have had to change a lot of the things they would normally do to better accommodate their appointments and also depending on how they feel on the day.
My Mother in law also has had several battles with cancer including one recenlty that she came out victorious against.  Her husband as well has had major family losses to the disease.

Cancer is something that always makes you wish you could do something more for your loved ones when you hear that this has happened to them. You want to take that pain away from them and show them you'll always be there for them!

The money raised over the course of this challenge will go  towards cancer research at Curtin University so i know that all the money that is donated will go directly into the hands of the people trying to fight this disease.

The challenge will also be helping me to get over to do the Kokoda track in PNG. Kokoda is something that my dad had always wanted to do but is unable to do so now  (although he would tell you he's fine and could do it anyway ). The full track is 96KM of grueling mountain ranges and dense jungle and is a major part of Australia's WW2 history in the defense against the advancing Japanese army in 1942. The physical and mental nature of the track will be a massively grueling challenge but something i look forward to.

Any donations you guys make will be greatly appreciated and i would really appreciate anything you can help with.
