Audrey Beat Cancer Again

Donation protected
As much as it saddens my heart to write this, but on Saturday, August 4th 2018, my beautiful niece Audrey Lefono was admitted to the Children’s Hospital in Seattle. The doctor found out that her cancer had relapsed and had come back as “ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA”...

On February 2016, Audrey was diagnosed with “MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROME”(MDS) in Hawaii..MDS is also known as “PRELEUKEMIA” MDS is pre leukemia meaning Audrey’s leukemia cell had not reached the percentage for it to be called Leukemia. Audrey receive a round of chemo, one treatment of minimal radiation, and a bone marrow transplant in which she was blessed to have her sister as her donor match. This allowed and blessed her with 2 amazing beautiful and happy years of health, which we are forever grateful to our Heavenly Father.

Audrey is the eldest daughter of Jerry and April Lefono... She is 10 years old, has a strong younger sister and 2 little brothers. Audrey is a very smart, beautiful vibrant girl who is full of life. For those of you who know Audrey knows how much she really loves her family and friends. One of her favorite things to do is spend time with her cousins, loves singing, acting, and cheerleading.

Audrey is currently at the Children’s Hospital in Seattle. She is going through a lot, with her round of chemo that just finished this week and has a long recovery ahead of her. Because she is resilient and a fighter, her parents have not left her side especially her mom. Her Mom has to stay from her job and to care for her 24/7 while her Dad is the only one working right now providing for their needs. They will continue to be by her side as she faces the long and challenging road that lies ahead of her.

I come to you all with a humble heart and ask that we come together to rally for our dear niece Audrey Lefono. Whether it be with prayers, thought, words of encouragement and warmth or monetary; any and all forms of gift is greatly appreciated. We know Audrey is a strong girl and will find the strength within to fight her way through it. So please continue to pray for her and our family, and for all the other families impacted by this kind of event. We Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts...
