Animal Rescue & Education (C.A.R.E.) is an all volunteer 501(c)3
organization formed by concerned animal lovers.
C.A.R.E.'s mission is to relieve the suffering among homeless animals through rescue and adoption, and extension of humane education.
We are in desperate need of a new R.V.! Our current R.V. has outlived it useful life. It has become a liability in which we would rather spend the funds needed to repair it on the animals.
Every month, C.A.R.E. volunteers rescue puppies in the North Carolina "Kill Shelters" scheduled for euthanasia. These puppies are brought into our N.C. facility for proper health care. Once the animals are in good health and cleared by our veterinarian, they are transported to NJ for a monthly adoption event. We also partner with other rescues to assist them in rescuing adults from high kill and death row to safety by transporting them on the R.V..
C.A.R.E. rescues and adopts out an average of 30 puppies per month to loving forever homes, and we would like to continue transporting these puppies in safety and comfort.
