Help Sandy Fight & Heal at Home

We have been blessed throughout this journey so far by strength of family and friends, incredible medical care and the will to face all of this head on. We have also been fortunate with regard to flexibility in the way of our employers being accommodating. While we have been managing the finances and the time off from work as best as possible, the near future will involve six months of chemotherapy (a stronger dose) in conjunction with a return to work for Amanda who has gone above in beyond in the months since diagnosis in taking unpaid leave. While mom is gaining strength and some of her independence back, due to the sudden changes that can occur with glioblastoma and also the side effects of treatment, we feel it prudent to secure a part time, in home caregiver. The cost of such care can be prohibitive and thus we are initiating a fundraiser so that Sandy can stay home, where healing , fighting and recuperation are always more successful.
