This is my son and miracle baby Brayden. He turned 7 months old on Christmas Eve. He was born with a rare genetic condition called chromosomial translocation 7;9.
This has affected the center of his body. His brain, mouth, heart, hands and feet.
It has caused him to have infantile spasms which is a type of seizure as well as another type of epileptic seizure, a cleft palette, three holes in his heart, clasp thumbs (inverted thumbs) and clubbed feet.
He was flown to All Childrens Hospital at two days old where he spent the 30 days of his life. He is on 6 different medications daily and sees 6 different specialists.

One of the first surgeries Brayden needs is heart surgery. It is scheduled Jan 12th. The holes in his heart are causing blood to backflow into his lungs and he is starting to show serious signs of heart failure. He also struggles to gain any kind of weight with his heart condition and also his cleft palette.

The situation with me and my fiancé is that we are we need of help paying for
a hotel for at least 10 days. So we can be close buy we live about an 1 and 20 minutes from the hospital.

These are scary times to have all this happened during one of the worst pandemics in history is so surreal. We have all been fighting this battle mentally everyday. Anything helps.
