Hello beautiful soul! My name is Nikki aka Chief Fairy at the Conscious Culture Fairy. I have a dream. One where our careers and work life supports, complements, and elevates our personal lives instead of feeling torn between the two or driven to burnout trying to balance it all. I believe you share this dream. And that's where a movement starts. When it shifts from "I" to "We" are making a revolutionary change to improve our work life balance, stability, and quality of life.
The need has never been more present in corporate culture (especially in America but let's not be too American and leave out the rest of the world) to treat people with empathy and as humans instead of numbers, provide engaging and connected experiences in a remote environment, and provide benefits that truly matter and solve for the key stressors that prevent us from showing up as the best version of ourselves in our work life.
It is our belief that people WANT to work. We feel more productive and have a higher sense of worth when we are contributing consistently. However, given the current climate and very real added stressors living in a global pandemic has presented for our physical, mental, and financial health, as well as the extra burden of caretaking, infertility struggles....the list goes on. These things prevent us from being our best at work and many have decided to resign or are actively considering it. That would be a shame. There are amazing established businesses out there with leadership who truly cares about their teams. And many people prefer the security of being an employee vs. self employed or a business owner. It takes EVERY role to make society and capitalism function. Each are equally valuable. Think dining out in a restaurant - you can't have a compelling front of the house experience without a high performing back of the house.
Many business leaders want to make changes. They want to come through for their teams. However, they are often struggling to know WHAT to do. And more importantly HOW to do it. In many cases HR or senior leadership was not aware of resources that directly resolved their concern and came in under budget. And were too strapped taking on extra workload with downsized teams to effectively research these solutions. This is the problem we hope to solve together. Bringing awareness to systems that are broken, educate on the WHY behind their broken-ness (hint - Follow the $$$), and tools and resources that already exist to address them.
Our first project is our podcast Corporate Counter Culture releasing Wednesday 10/6/21 - see below for our website and social channels! We tackle the issues above and really dig into the healthcare revolution - how the system is designed to ENSURE costs go up year after year and often forces well meaning doctors to choose between giving patients the time needed to understand their unique health challenges or paying their own bills.
We learn how the financials and legal agreements of that system work and why it's doing EXACTLY what it's designed to. Ensure we remain sick, heavily medicated, have often unnecessary surgeries and procedures, struggle with our mental health due to being told “it’s all in our head,” and make executives of insurance and big pharma A LOT of money - the only true stakeholders in our healthcare system. Healthcare bills are the leading cause of bankruptcy in America so all of this at the price of your financial stability and future dreams for your family. We will share tips on lesser known (hint they will NEVER tell you) strategies to reduce or in some cases waive healthcare bills. Strategies for affordable access to true healthcare - meaning YOU CHOSE WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU. You and your intuition know what is right for you and your family. You just may not have the information to make the best decision. Join us and help provide that awareness and education for all so we can make the best decisions for our loved ones.
Having worked remotely since 2004 relationship building became my cornerstone - talking to people and even more so listening to their stories. This is where the idea for the Conscious Culture Fairy was born - listening to business leaders and HR contact vulnerably share their stories of human suffering in the workplace throughout the pandemic, holding space and shedding tears alongside them, and collaborating on ideas to help them come through for their teams with empathy.
As I joined the healthcare revolution I was blown away by the stories I heard - the passion behind the people in this movement. And a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information to learn about insurance and healthcare. Considering what had helped me make a name for myself throughout my career I landed on my forensic approach to problem solving. Stepping back, taking a very wide lens perspective considering perspectives from all stakeholders, and intentionally NOT becoming too mired in the day to day that it would impact my ability to develop creative and outside the box solutions. Often this perspective is only available when we are NOT too close to the problem. This is what we hope to lend to the revolution. An objective and unbiased perspective focused on story telling for the people and brands who are driving this change - tempered with that unbiased approach and willingness to consider all angles.

• Mentors: We are only as strong as the guidance we receive. If you have built a successful brand, are an active revolutionary in your field, an established digital entrepreneur, keynote speaker, podcast host, or otherwise feel that our energy may be aligned and we can elevate each other we'd love to hear from you!
• Volunteers: We understand times are tight for so many. Please do not give anything you are unable to comfortably give. You and your family come FIRST. If you are feeling called to Join the Revolution and cannot contribute financially we welcome volunteers! We could use support especially if you are skilled at social media management, public relations, a podcast expert, photographers and videographers, business accountant/bookkeeper, or virtual event hosts. We are open to transitioning to a financial relationship as soon as our mission is established and it is possible to do so.
• Publicity: We are beyond grateful for some early wins in podcast and TV mediums but would very much appreciate you connecting us to anyone with an established platform who may be interested in hearing the story behind what WE are all accomplishing together.
